Record/Vinyl + Digital Album
Our limited edition vinyl is finally here! This is a limited edition pressing of 300 vinyls only, and each will be numbered and signed by us on the front cover. The cardboard wallet is printed on reverse card, which has a lovely matte finish and really shows off Jake Gunn’s album artwork. The record itself is contained in a plain white paper sleeve within the cardboard, and what you’ll be listening to has been specially re-mastered through a vintage Studer tape machine at Gearbox Records in London for that extra analogue warmth….ooohh! We’ll be packing each record in a secure cardboard sleeve (with stiffeners for extra protection). We hope you enjoy!

lyrics
Now the future dawns
On this metallic storm
Could it be
I am really here alone?
I look for miles to find
There's no-one here
In the absence of mankind
I've got questions
I've been grappling for years
I need to try and find the answers
I'm caught in a maze of mortal design
Trying to navigate the labyrinths
As I stop to appraise my vital signs
I calculate
I'm a human synth
Yeah
Yeah
Yeah
So my search goes on
Just when all hope had gone
Suddenly
See you step in through the light
Like a vision from before
A memory
You're reprogramming my core
And I wonder
If a humanoid like me
Could ever learn to love completely
I cannot feel pain
Don't bleed and won't cry
I can simulate the narrative
But when I see your face
I swear I'm alive
I resonate
From within my hardware
I've travelled this space
For you to be mine
Let me issue a declarative
We will live in a place
Beyond laws of time
We'll populate
As the human synths
Yeah
Somebody tell me
Could I ever learn
Learn to love
Completely
Yeah
Ever ever ever ever learn

I discovered this album when catching up to the always accurate online Mixcloud radio show:
The Jazz Pit
Specifically, episode - 'Yacht Rock Pt. 2' which has "Winners" by Young Gun Sliver Fox open the show.
It immediately got my attention for it's quality in terms of pacing in that as a single it's not to fast but not to slow just the right riddim.
On, listening to that track and the host of The Jazz Pit declaring that the entire album is impressive lead me to purchase it. Your Mother

This album is State Cows coming back to form after their last album was a disappointment. The only caveat on this album is a lack of a ballad, such as California Gold. sven86
