Record/Vinyl + Digital Album
Our limited edition vinyl is finally here! This is a limited edition pressing of 300 vinyls only, and each will be numbered and signed by us on the front cover. The cardboard wallet is printed on reverse card, which has a lovely matte finish and really shows off Jake Gunn’s album artwork. The record itself is contained in a plain white paper sleeve within the cardboard, and what you’ll be listening to has been specially re-mastered through a vintage Studer tape machine at Gearbox Records in London for that extra analogue warmth….ooohh! We’ll be packing each record in a secure cardboard sleeve (with stiffeners for extra protection). We hope you enjoy!

lyrics
Got a brand new Gameboy
With a colour screen
And if you ask me nicely
I'll give you a go
When it's your turn to play
No I don't like vegetables
They taste gross to me
I want my chicken nuggets
And sugary treats
I know we just met
But one day I bet
We could be the best of friends
Shall we build a den?
Draw in colour pen
Then a game of make pretend
Have you got a pet?
Mum won't let me yet
She says maybe when I'm ten
Tomorrow at three
See you by the tree
Then the fun begins again
I'll meet you after school
And we'll bend the rules
'Til it's tea time
Doing wheelies in the park
'Til it's nearly dark
On a weeknight
And when we're back indoors
We'll play dinosaurs
In the hallway
People know when we're let loose
We both rule the roost
Like two tearaways
Wanna come to my birthday party?
I've got a trampoline
And a candy floss machine
Go on the bouncy castle
I'm gonna throw up
When you're young and free
Life is like a dream
Feels like it will never end
One day we'll grow up
Will we stay in touch?
Maybe not but until then
I'll meet you after school
And we'll bend the rules
'Til it's tea time
Doing wheelies in the park
'Til it's nearly dark
On a weeknight
And when we're back indoors
We'll play dinosaurs
In the hallway
People know when we're let loose
We both rule the roost
Like two tearaways
After school
Bend the rules
'Til it's tea time
In the park
Nearly dark
On a weeknight
Back indoors
Dinosaurs
In the hallway
We're let loose
Rule the roost
Like two tearaways

I discovered this album when catching up to the always accurate online Mixcloud radio show:
The Jazz Pit
Specifically, episode - 'Yacht Rock Pt. 2' which has "Winners" by Young Gun Sliver Fox open the show.
It immediately got my attention for it's quality in terms of pacing in that as a single it's not to fast but not to slow just the right riddim.
On, listening to that track and the host of The Jazz Pit declaring that the entire album is impressive lead me to purchase it. Your Mother
This album is State Cows coming back to form after their last album was a disappointment. The only caveat on this album is a lack of a ballad, such as California Gold. sven86
